theMidNightEssentials is the known stage name of solo artist Lizzie DePriest. Lizzie grew up in Muskogee, OK and has been heavily involved in music since the age of eight when she received her first electric guitar. She is an award winning vocalist and competition renown songwriter. Likewise, she was awarded scholarships through the performing arts department of Northeastern State University where she completed a minor in music and is currently in graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology. Aside from creating all original music and singing, Lizzie plays both electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums and percussion, piano/keyboard, and ukulele. All of theMidNightEssentials music is original and is written, recorded, and produced by Lizzie. She is thrilled to continue pursuing music through the release of her newest original record entitled Self Talk and through live performance. “This project is a cumulation of years of music production, writing, learning, creativity, and trying to be real.
